Selected in the late 1930s from a single tree on the Loresho Estate in Kabete by the Scott Agricultural Laboratories. A Typica type adapted to high altitude and good rainfall; dark bronze shoot tips are its field marker. Blackcurrant, citrus and dark berries over juicy acidity, rounded sweetness and a long clean finish that is hard to mistake.
